The Tenth Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) of the Caribbean Community was held in Belize City, Belize, 10-11 May 2007, under the chairmanship of the Hon. Eamon Courtenay, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Belize. The Ministers attending were: the Hon. W. Baldwin Spencer, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antigua and Barbuda; the Hon. The Eighteenth Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held in Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, on 12-14 February 2007 under the Chairmanship of Dr. the Hon. Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Chairman of the Conference of Heads of Government.

The Twenty-Sixth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community was held in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia, from 3 to 6 July 2005. Dr. the Honourable Kenny D. Anthony, Prime Minister of Saint Lucia and Chairman of CARICOM, presided over the Meeting of the Conference.

The Twenty-Seventh Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community was held in Bird Rock, St. Kitts and Nevis, from 3-6 July 2006. Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, Prime Minister of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis presided.

With specific focus on issues pertaining to health, the Fourteenth Meeting of the CARICOM Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) was held at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank, (ECCB) St. Kitts and Nevis on 27-28 April 2006, under the chairmanship of the Hon. Bernard Nottage, Minister of Health of The Bahamas.

COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE FIFTH UK-CARIBBEAN FORUM, 26-28 APRIL 2006, BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS

1. The Fifth UK-Caribbean Forum, hosted by the Government of Barbados, took place in Bridgetown on 26-28 April 2006. The Forum was co-chaired on the Caribbean side by the Hon. Elvin Nimrod, MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Grenada and current Chair of the CARICOM Council for Foreign and Community Relations, and on the UK side by the Rt. Hon. Jack Straw, MP, Secretary of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

JOINT COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE ELEVENTH JAPAN-CARICOM CONSULTATION, 16-17 FEBRUARY 2006, TOKYO, JAPAN

The Eleventh Japan-Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Consultation was held at the International Conference Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tokyo from February 16 to 17, 2006. The delegation of CARICOM was headed by Ambassador Lolita Applewhaite, Deputy Secretary General of the CARICOM Secretariat and that of Japan by Mr. Mitsuo Sakaba, Director General of the Latin American and Caribbean Affairs Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
