COMMUNIQUE
The Forty-Ninth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held in Montego Bay, Jamaica from 6-8 July under the chairmanship of Dr the Most Honourable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica.
1.We, the leaders of Brazil and countries of the Caribbean, met in Brasilia, on 13 June 2025, to address issues of common interest and strengthen channels of dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation. The attendance of a significant number of Heads of State and Government, senior officials, as well as chief administrative officers of regional organizations, illustrates the importance attached by the participants to the Brazil-Caribbean Summit.

The Twenty-Eighth Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held in Basseterre, Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis from 8 to 9 May 2025, under the chairmanship of the Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Economic Development and Investment of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
The Forty-Eighth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held in Barbados from 19 -21 February 2025 under the chairmanship of the Honourable Mia Amor Mottley, Prime Minister of Barbados.
The President of Guyana is confident that the investments in agriculture, policy formulation and the dedication of CARICOM Heads of Government will lead to success in reducing the Region’s high food import bill.

The Twenty-Seventh Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held in Roseau, Dominica from 23-24 May 2024, under the Chairmanship of the Honourable Dr. Vince Henderson, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business, Trade and Energy of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
The Forty-Sixth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held from 25 – 28 February in Georgetown, Guyana.
Chair of the Conference, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of Guyana, presided over the Meeting.
As the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) celebrates 50 years since its creation, Prime Minister Trudeau of Canada and Prime Minister Skerrit of Dominica, Chair of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government, co-chaired the Canada-CARICOM Summit, under the theme “Strategic Partners for a Resilient Future.”
