COMMUNIQUÉ ISSUED AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE THIRTY-NINTH REGULAR MEETING OF THE CONFERENCE OF HEADS OF GOVERNMENT OF THE CARIBBEAN COMMUNITY

The Thirty-Ninth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held at Montego Bay, Jamaica, 4-6 July, 2018.  The Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Most Honourable Andrew Holness, chaired the proceedings.  Other Members of the Conference in attendance were: Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, Honourable Gaston Browne; Prime Minister of The Bahamas, Honourable Dr.

Communique – Thirty-Eighth CARICOM Heads of Government Meeting

The Thirty-Eighth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held at Grand Anse, Grenada, on 4-6 July 2017.  The Prime Minister of Grenada, Dr. the Rt. Honourable Keith Mitchell, chaired the proceedings. 

Forum of CARICOM First Ladies/Spouses of Heads of State and Government Every Caribbean Woman,  Every Caribbean Child

First Ladies and Spouses of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) convened a Forum under the theme “Every Caribbean Woman, Every Caribbean Child” at the Guyana Marriott Hotel, Georgetown, Guyana on 16 February 2017.  The aim of the Forum was to agree on priorities and strategies for implementing a programme of work to enhance the health and well-being of Caribbean women and children.   The Forum was chaired by H.E. Mrs.

Communique at the conclusion of a PANCAP hosted Knowledge Synthesis and Best Practices Workshop to build capacity of Civil Society Organizations and National Aids Programme Managers within the region

The Pan Caribbean Partnership against HIV & AIDS, PANCAP, hosted a three–day workshop (November 22 -24) in Port of Spain, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, on Knowledge Synthesis and Best Practices for over forty (40) leaders of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and National AIDS Programme (NAP) Managers in the Caribbean. The Honourable Terrence Deyalsingh, as host Minister of Health, delivered the keynote address in which he stressed the critical importance of leadership and committed his support as a champion for the regional and global agenda for ending AIDS by the year 2030.

The Nineteenth Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) took place in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, on 9-10 May 2016, under the Chairmanship of the Honourable Sir Louis Straker, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Trade, Commerce and Regional Integration of  St Vincent and the Grenadines.
