It is with great pleasure that I welcome your Excellency Serge Marcoux to the Secretariat today for the special purpose of receiving your Credentials accrediting you as Canada's Ambassador to the Caribbean Community.

PANCAP HOLDS TWELFTH ANNUAL MEETING

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) Under the theme PANCAP: Forging new paths, more than 100 members of the Pan Caribbean Partnership Against HIV and AIDS (PANCAP) will meet for its Twelfth Annual General meeting on 24 -26 October 2012, in Belize City, Belize.

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Ministers of Agriculture wrapped up a Special Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) Friday, recording movement on the linkages between agriculture and tourism and agreeing on the need for intensified action to address the transport of goods within the Region.

SG PAYS OFFICIAL VISIT TO BELIZE

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) Secretary-General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Ambassador Irwin LaRocque will be paying an official visit to Belize on October 22-23.

During his visit, the Secretary-General will pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister Honourable Dean Barrow at his Belmopan office on the first day. He will also meet with the Minister of Foreign Trade, Honourable Erwin Contreras on that day.
