CARICOM and Kenya renew diplomatic ties

The Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, Economic Development and Investment of Saint Kitts and Nevis will chair the meeting.

CARICOM Ambassadors in New York Discuss Haiti Crisis with UN Secretary General Guterres

Arrival Statement | CARICOM Electoral Observation Mission to Trinidad and Tobago

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat was invited by way of letter dated 10 December 2024 from Dr. the Honourable Keith Rowley, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, to deploy an Election Observation Mission to observe the Parliamentary Elections to be held in 2025. On 13 January 2025, the CARICOM Secretary-General advised that the Secretariat was fully prepared to undertake the necessary arrangements for the deployment of an Election Observation Mission to Trinidad and Tobago.

CARICOM Deputy Secretary-General welcomes Assistant Secretary-General of the OAS for a courtesy call

On Monday, April 14, 2025, CARICOM Deputy Secretary-General, Dr. Armstrong Alexis welcomed Ambassador Nestor Mendez, Assistant Secretary-General of the Organisation of American States (OAS), for a courtesy call at the CARICOM Secretariat Headquarters in Georgetown, Guyana.

Ambassador Mendez, who is preparing to step down from his role at the OAS, visited Dr. Alexis to discuss the valuable relationship between CARICOM and the OAS.
