CARICOM SINGLE ICT SPACE ICT Sector Gap Analysis

In recognition of the importance of aligning digital strategies and fostering collaboration, the Secretariat mobilised resources to support key initiatives. Funding from the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) facilitated the commencement of the ICT Sector Gap Analysis. The Secretariat contracted Technopolis France and Technopolis Belgium to assess the ICT sector in the Community, and held inception and other meetings associated with the project. The consultancy delivered a preliminary assessment and began virtual consultations. The preliminary assessment highlighted areas where significant disparities exist, such as the lack of critical legislation in some Member States and Associate Members.
