Crime and Violence as a Public Health Issue

The Government of Trinidad and Tobago, in collaboration with the CARICOM Secretariat, convened a Regional Symposium on Crime and Violence as a Public Health Issue on 17–18 April 2023 to address the issue of crime and violence within the Caribbean Region. The Regional Energy Apprenticeship Programme (REAP)

REAP Associates provide technical expertise in the spheres of energy systems development, energy diplomacy, knowledge management and communications, programme management, policy and regulatory affairs, among other areas, at the following regional institutions:

The CARICOM Energy Knowledge Hub

Though some Member States are making good progress in the adoption of energy efficiency applications and renewable energy technologies, there is a need to ensure that decisions and planning are supported by fact‑based scenarios and information, derived from data of an appropriate quality and quantity. The use of reliable information to support energy planning and decision‑making can place the region on a path towards a more evidence‑based approach for meeting the C‑SERMS objectives and targets.

Public Procurement Notice Board

The Community Public Procurement Notice Board is a web-based, collaborative system to facilitate the publication of procurement opportunities in the CARICOM Region among those countries participating in the CARICOM Public Procurement Regime.

CARICOM Single Market Application Processing System (CAPS)

The Document and Workflow Management System (DWMS) is a crucial component of the larger initiative to make the rights under the CSM more accessible and to ensure a higher level of efficiency and effectiveness in the processing of these rights. The system will contribute to the achievement of the full integration of the national markets of Member States of the Community into a single, unified and open market area.
