CARICOM continues advocacy for increased support from the international community to Haiti

The Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR), at its recent meeting in Saint Kitts and Nevis, reaffirmed CARICOM's support for Haiti, the Good Offices Role through the Eminent Persons Group (EPG), and the Community's continued advocacy for increased assistance from the international community.

In the video, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica, Sen. The Hon. Kamina Johnson-Smith elaborates on the engagement of the United Nations on Haiti, the role the EPG continues to play in supporting political dialogue, and the need for the international community to increase humanitarian, financial, and human resource aid to Haiti.
