ST. JOHN’S, Antigua - Historically speaking, Antigua & Barbuda like many other Caribbean countries is a product of slavery and colonialism.
Our education system, religion and culture are rooted in the past and so is our diet.
In times past, our forefathers’ diet was made up mostly of complex starchy foods, such as breadfruit, yams, sweet potatoes, etc, and a wide variety of vegetables and fruits.
