LIAT performance during CPL disgraceful – Ajmal Khan

(Barbados Nation) Next year, beleaguered regional carrier LIAT could find itself on the outside looking in on the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) because of the poor quality of service it delivered during the just-ended Twenty20 tournament. The man who delivered the bad news to the airline was millionaire businessman Ajmal Khan, the owner and founder of CPL who told the SUNDAY SUN that the airline’s service was a “travesty”. During an interview on the weekend at his West Coast home in Barbados, Khan said LIAT cost tournament organizers “millions of dollars” in additional expenses because of air travel woes.
