Charmaine Gill-Evans is a Barbados-based sustainable energy specialist and registered engineer who serves in the Sustainable Energy Unit at the Caribbean Development Bank. With more than 17 years of experience, she has built a career around advancing clean energy, energy resilience, and investment in sustainable energy across the Caribbean. She was recognised with the 2024 CARICOM Women in Sustainable Energy (WISE) Award in the Business, Entrepreneurship and Finance category, reflecting her contribution to strengthening the region’s sustainable energy landscape.
