Richard Pinas is a dynamic leader and the CARICOM Youth Ambassador representing Suriname. With a solid foundation in International Business and Management (BSc), Richard combines academic rigour with a deep-seated passion for social change. He has emerged as a prominent voice in national governance, having addressed the Parliament on two separate occasions to influence youth-centric policy.

Beyond governance, Richard is a dedicated champion of climate action. As a member of the Caribbean Climate Justice Leaders Academy, he advocates for sustainable development and ensures that the Caribbean’s fight for climate justice is heard at every level. Richard is committed to fostering regional cooperation and ensuring that the youth of Suriname are active architects of a resilient and prosperous future for the entire Caribbean.
