Curaçao

Curaçao is an island located in the southern Caribbean Sea, just off the coast of Venezuela. It forms part of the ABC islands along with Aruba and Bonaire. The island has a dry climate and features low hills, rocky coastlines, and sheltered bays. Coral reefs surround much of the island and support diverse marine life.

The island of Curacao, a constituent country of the Netherlands, is located in the Southern Caribbean Sea. Though a strong tourist destination, this country does not solely rely on tourism to support its economy as it possesses a strong oil refining company which lends itself to great regional and international export. Accordingly, petroleum exports account for 90% of Curacao’s external trade.
