VISIT OF THE HON. PRIME MINISTER OF SAINT LUCIA TO GUYANA
The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia Dr. the Hon. Kenny Anthony and CARICOM Head of Government with responsibility for Justice and Governance will be arriving in Guyana this Sunday October 29, 2000.
During his three-day visit, Dr. Anthony will meet with H.E. Mr. Bharrat Jagdeo, President of the Republic of Guyana, Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Desmond Hoyte and CARICOM Secretary-General Mr. Edwin Carrington.
He will also hold a series of meetings with leaders of political parties, the Chairman and members of Elections Commission, representatives of the Guyana Trades Union Congress, the private sector and members of Donor Community among others.
Prime Minister Dr. Anthony will host a Press Conference on Tuesday October 31, 2000 at 5:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the CARICOM Secretariat located in the Bank of Guyana Building.
