FOR LONG AND DEDICATED SERVICE CARICOM SECRETARIAT SAYS THANK YOU

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat will confer long service awards on 30 staff members at a simple ceremony at its Headquarters, Bank of Guyana Building today, Friday July 16.

Topping the list of recipients are Ms Myrtle Chuck-a-Sang , who has given 30 years service, and Mr. Rajpaul Singh and Ms Monica Smith, who are on staff for 25 years.

Seven other staffers with 20 years service, 10 with 15 years and another 10 with 10 years service will receive long service awards.

The Secretariat first conferred long service awards to staffers in 1983, and former Secretary-General Roderick Rainford is among 179 persons who have so far been recognised for their dedicated service in the furtherance of the Community's goals.
