CARICOM SECRETARY-GENERAL CONGRATULATES HAITI FOOTBALL TEAM ON DIGICEL TOURNAMENT VICTORY

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) Secretary General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) His Excellency Edwin Carrington has extended congratulations to the Haitian football team on their victory in the Digicel Caribbean Cup Football tournament.
The team defeated Trinidad and Tobago’s Soca Warriors 2-1 at Hasely Crawford Stadium in Trinidad.
The text of the message reads:
On behalf of the entire Caribbean Community (CARICOM) I extend heartfelt congratulations to the Haitian Football team for their success in winning the Digicel Caribbean Cup Football Title. Their planning, strategy, skill and determination were exemplary.
