Apr 25, 2013

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, CMC – Leader of the main opposition People’s Action Movement (PAM), Shawn Richards said his party will not contest the seats now held by two former senior government ministers in the next general elections.
Former deputy prime minister Sam Condor and former senior minister Dr. Timothy Harris have joined with the four opposition legislators in writing a letter to Governor General Sir Edmund Wickham indicating that they do not support the government of Prime Minister Dr. Denzil Douglas.
In addition, the two disgruntled politicians have also given support to a motion of no confidence against Dr. Douglas that is yet to be debated in the Parliament.
