Prime Minister on weeklong visit to Brazil

PORT AU PRINCE, Haiti, CMC – Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe arrived in Brazil Monday at the start of a week-long visit aimed at deepening ties with Brazil.
A statement from the Office of the Prime Minister said the the visit is also aimed at encouraging private sector investment in Haiti.
It said that the trip is also part of a broader Haitian government effort to aggressively insert Haiti into hemispheric affairs.
