Mitchell administration points to progress during first 100 days in office

Jun 07, 2013

NEW YORK, CMC – Grenada’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Business, Nickolas Steele, claims the new Keith Mitchell administration has accomplished more in its first 100 days in office compared to what was accomplished by the former administration of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by Tillman Thomas . “In my opinion, we have achieved more that what the NDC achieved in 4 ½ years,” Steele told the Caribbean Media Corporation in an interview on Wednesday. The foreign affairs minister, who was en route to Guatemala to attend the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS), stopped over in New York to sign the first ever international treaty to regulate the trade of conventional weapons at the United Nations.
