DPP not giving update

Jun 25, 2013

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad - DIRECTOR OF Public Prosecutions (DPP) Roger Gaspard SC yesterday said he would not “fall prey” to calls for an update into the criminal investigation into the criminal investigation into the collapse of CL Financial Ltd, CLICO and related subsidiaries.
In a two-page statement, Gaspard noted that questions on the status of the criminal investigation were premature as the matter was still at its investigative stage.
“That investigation is being vigorously pursued with the aid of forensic specialists from abroad at such pace as the limited resources of the State would permit,” he noted.
