PM seeks apology from newspaper and columnist

KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent, CMC – Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves Monday said he had instructed his lawyers to write a newspaper and a columnist seeking an apology over a story it ran regarding the charges laid against opposition senator report Vynnette Frederick. Gonsalves said he was seeking the apology from the Vincent Newspaper and its columnist Kenneth John, claiming that the article sought to indicate that he had personally been involved in the charges being laid against the opposition legislator “If you read the Vincentian with the Kenneth John column, he said Vynette’s case is one which shows that how the “comrade”, of course there is only one person in this country they call the comrade” ...planned or countenance against his political enemies.
