(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) Secretary-General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Ambassador Irwin LaRocque will be paying an official visit to Belize on October 22-23.

During his visit, the Secretary-General will pay a courtesy call on the Prime Minister Honourable Dean Barrow at his Belmopan office on the first day. He will also meet with the Minister of Foreign Trade, Honourable Erwin Contreras on that day.

While in Belize, Ambassador LaRocque will meet with the private sector, youth representatives and members of the media and will also visit the offices of the Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre and the Caribbean Regional Fisheries Mechanism which both have their headquarters in Belize.
