PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands -- Former Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) premier Michael Misick, who is currently facing a number of corruption related charges, has apparently decided to re-engage in local politics.

Within the last two weeks, Misick has made four public appearances. He was interviewed at a music festival on his home island of North Caicos, where he said, “It is so good to back home again.”
Then, at a Progressive National Party (PNP) rally at a local church, Misick was seen applauding calls by against a new payroll tax being promoted by his brother, the current finance minister Washington Misick, and current premier, Rufus Ewing.
