CARICOM Development Fund Provides initial US$100,000 cash contribution to Hurricane Beryl Recovery Efforts in St. Vincent and the Grenadines

Bridgetown, Barbados – September 10, 2024 – The CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) has made a cash contribution of US$100,000 or approximately EC$270,000 from its  Emergency Disaster Assistance Facility (EDAF) to the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to assist in recovery efforts following the devastating impact of Hurricane Beryl on July 1, 2024.

CARICOM, German officials meet in Grenada

(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) - Ms. Elizabeth Solomon, Assistant Secretary-General for the Directorate of Foreign and Community Relations, on Sunday held discussions with H.E. Dr. Christophe Eick, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to CARICOM.

The talks were held ahead of the 47th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government in St. George's, Grenada.
