This project will upgrade labs in three countries and bring the testing required by local businesses wishing to export closer to home. Ultimately reducing production costs and increasing access to markets requiring the satisfaction of specified standards and tests.
COMMUNIQUE
The Forty-Ninth Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) was held in Montego Bay, Jamaica from 6-8 July under the chairmanship of Dr the Most Honourable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica.

Twenty-three (23) young professionals from 13 CARICOM Member States are now better equipped to empower youth of the Region in navigating the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) following the completion of orientation and the first week of training of the CARICOM Young Professionals Programme (CYPP).

We worked diligently to build a meaningful, impactful Programme that goes beyond workshops and policy papers. This Programme is about people. It’s about you, young professionals with fresh ideas, strong voices, and a deep commitment to the Caribbean. We need to embed your perspectives into the heart of our integration process.”
Preparations have begun for the 60th Meeting of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED), which will be held early next month in Georgetown, Guyana.
Under the chairmanship of Honourable Kerrie Symmonds, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Barbados, regional ministers responsible for trade and economic development will meet 10-11 June.
