Creativity for Employment and Business Opportunity (CEBO)

CEBO is a tool to engage, inspire and create entrepreneurial interest and action among young CARICOM nationals in and out of school and from all walks of life. It addresses psychological and social development issues and makes the link between entrepreneurship, the dreams and aspirations of young people and regional integration.

Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS)

The CARICOM Energy Programme this year with support from the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (REETA) Project will be collaborating with the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSSQ) towards the development of a Draft Energy Codes for Building as well the Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) for public buildings within the Region by the end of 2015.

C-SERMS Phase II and Platform

The Caribbean Sustainable Energy Roadmap and Strategy (C-SERMS) is a regional energy planning, management and implementation framework being developed by CARICOM for expediting the implementation of the renewable energy and energy efficiency dimensions of the CARICOM ENERGY POLICY.

Newspaper Editors Regional Integration and CSME Workshop

Newspaper owners and editors from Member States of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will come together to discuss issues related to the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) and regional integration at a major workshop in Trinidad and Tobago.

Students engaging the CSME

The CARICOM Secretariat, via the CSME Unit, is currently executing the project Students Engaging the CSME through Field Promotion.  

This project entails training youths to identify and develop responses to CSME opportunities.

The objective is to engage the next generation in identifying career possibilities with regard to wage employment, self-employment and starting a business in the CSME.  

CARICOM Energy Policy and Regulations Help Desk

The CARICOM Energy Policy and Regulations Help Desk aims to provide CARICOM Member States with the required technical support to develop an enabling environment to accelerate the Sustainable Energy transition.

To realise this mandate, the CARICOM Energy Policy and Regulations Help Desk will facilitate the provision of technical assistance services for:

Caribbean Sustainable Energy Roadmap and Strategy (C-SERMS)

The CARICOM Secretariat pursued the development of a Caribbean Sustainable Energy Roadmap and Strategy based mainly on a mandate given at the Twentieth Inter-Sessional Meeting of the Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community [March 2009, Belize].At that Meeting, the Heads of Government, agreed that:

CARICOM Civil Society Project

The CARICOM Civil Society Project which is funded under the 9th European Development Fund (EDF) Caribbean Integration Support Programme (CISP) commenced in March 2010.

It's primary goal is facilitating regional Civil Society participation and engagement in the Caribbean Integration Process, including the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME).

The Project comprises two (2) main components:
