As the Region seeks to consolidate integration in the year ahead, we look forward to continued collaboration with our stakeholders and partners, including the CARICOM Committee of Ambassadors and CARICOM Youth Ambassadors, as well as the guidance of the Bureau of the Conference, which will comprise Barbados, Grenada and Jamaica effective 1 January 2025.

The Caribbean Meteorological Council (CMC), the ministerial-level organ of the Caribbean Meteorological Organization (CMO) which represents 16 Member States, convened its 67th Session (CMC67) on 21-22 November 2024, in Tortola, Virgin Islands (British) at Maria’s By The Sea. The Eighth CARICOM-Japan Ministerial Meeting which will be held on 14 December in Tokyo, Japan, culminates the CARICOM-Japan Friendship Year 2024. The year marks three decades of friendship between the Community and Japan, and 60 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago respectively.
