Alison Drayton
Ms Alison Drayton is the Assistant Secretary-General, Human and Social Development at the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat. She brings extensive experience in social policy development, regional coordination, and programme leadership across key human and social development priorities, including education, health, gender equality, youth development, and social protection.
In her role, Ms Drayton provides strategic oversight and policy guidance to advance CARICOM’s human and social development agenda, supporting Member States in strengthening inclusive, resilient, and people-centred development outcomes. Her work is grounded in evidence-based policy formulation, regional consensus-building, and alignment with internationally agreed development frameworks, reflecting a sustained commitment to social equity and regional integration.
