CARICOM Energy Knowledge Hub: Report on Stakeholder Workshop

This project supported the development of the CARICOM Energy Knowledge Hub (CEKH), a regional knowledge-management initiative operating under the Caribbean Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (CCREEE). Implemented by Monkey Mosaic Ltd and REEEP in collaboration with CARICOM Energy, the project focused on identifying priority knowledge needs, services, and products to strengthen decision-making and capacity across the Caribbean energy sector.

Building on an extensive stakeholder consultation process, a multi-partner workshop was convened alongside regional and international technical programmes, including C-SERMS, TAPSEC, and REETA, and co-located with the CARILEC Smart Grids and Renewable Energy Conference in 2018. The workshop brought together policymakers, technical experts, and utility representatives to ensure that practical, utility-level perspectives were embedded in the design of the Hub. The outcomes informed the strategic direction of CEKH as a sustainable, regionally relevant platform for renewable energy and energy efficiency knowledge sharing.
