Incumbent is charged with supervising the American Citizen Services (ACS) unit within the Consular Section.  He/she provides guidance and training to the other three Foreign Service National (FSN) employees assigned to the unit, in performing both routine and complex ACS work.  Incumbent is responsible for processing to completion of all ACS work involving passport applications, reports of birth and death, financial assistance, claims to U.S. nationality and limited Federal Benefits Services.  Incumbent assists and advises the American ACS Chief with all cases, including deaths, injuries, accidents, property claims, etc. involving U.S. citizens in our Consular District.
