Region to get new programme to aid COVID-era learning loss recovery

Jan 09, 2026

A new regional programme to help students recover the learning losses of the COVID-19 era will be presented in two virtual town hall sessions this month.

The Learning Recovery and Enhancement Programme for Caribbean Schools was developed through the collaboration of the Caribbean Development Bank, the CARICOM Secretariat and the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Commission, to assist educations with facilitating the learning recovery needed by students whose education has been impacted  by the COVID pandemic.

The town hall sessions will be held on the 11 and 18 November 2021 and can be accessed online at: https://uwitv.org/ or https://www.facebook.com/caricom.org
