KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent, CMC – Opposition Leader Arnhim Eustace Monday called on the authorities to ensure that 84 Port Police officers, who are being sent home at the end of the month are properly compensated for their years of service.
In a letter to the officers, Eustace said that they should ensure they are compensated in accordance with the severance pay law amended last month.
Eustace said the severance pay to the workers will not take into account their first two years of employment.
