PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti - The United Nations' new envoy to Haiti has begun her post as the head of mission for the peacekeeping force in the Caribbean nation. Sandra Honore of Trinidad and Tobago is taking over from Mariano Fernandez who left the position in January to pursue a possible career in politics. Honore's title is the special representative of the Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon, and head of mission.
