ST JOHN’S, Antigua – The government will be sending an 18-member contingent to the 2013 Caribbean Festival of Arts (Carifesta) to be held in Suriname next month.
Culture Minister Eleston Adams said the contingent would be representative of all aspects of the local culture inclusive of drama, dance, music, culinary arts and literature.
He said Carifesta, to be held from August 16-25, allows the region’s foremost performers to come together in a single space.
