BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Guardian - The reality is clear and the future yet grim. Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs, Christopher Sinckler, has said that the Government’s approach to the new Growth and Development Strategy (BGDS) 2013- 2020 will be more aggressive than its predecessor, the Medium-Term Fiscal Strategy. In outlining its recommendations in the House of Assembly yesterday, where he presented his Budget, the Minister stated that the only way to see a turnaround in the economy was for the social partnership and the public to work assiduously to implement its recommendations.
