KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC - The Press Association of Jamaica (PAJ) Tuesday withdrew its call for the resignation of the chairman of the board of Television Jamaica (TVJ) Milton Samuda. Last weekend, Samuda, temporary stepped down from his position pending the outcome of an investigation into allegations that he had engaged in censorship when he restricted the questions to be asked of two Olympians last month. The PAJ Tuesday adopted a resolution noting that Samuda had indicated “that he erred and apologizing unreservedly” and also “withdrawn any reference to payola in respect to the journalists involved.
