NEW YORK, CMC – A United States sustainability group says that it will build an orphanage and children’s facility in Haiti in honour of former US President Bill Clinton.
US Green Building Council (USGBC) president, chief executive officer and founding chair Rick Fedrizzi said the facility will be name in recognition of the  Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) “longstanding work to engage and empower the global community to find innovative solutions to the world's most pervasive problems.”
Fedrizzi also recognized Clinton’s efforts, following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, to foster the impoverished, French-speaking Caribbean nation’s reconstruction as a stronger nation.
