ANTIGUA AND BARUDA - Antigua & Barbuda is looking pretty good on the international front right now. Good things are just happening for the country in rapid succession. Just recently, a crew from US reality television show, The Bachelorette, which is said to attract approximately eight million viewers worldwide, was in the country filming its season finale. It meant the beauty of the country’s tourism product was exposed to those millions of viewers.
The country was indeed looking good during the four hours’ prime time television exposure to audiences worldwide. Those who had never before heard of our little rock but watch The Bachelorette regularly would have been introduced to the country’s spectacular beaches and exotic scenery through the romantic ambience of St James’s Club & Villas, The Verandah Resort and Spa and Galley Bay Resort and Spa.
Just over a week ago, celebrities Mary J Blige, who is a mega-star in the R&B world, and Nicole Scherzinger, formerly of pop girl group Pussycat Dolls, were on island during the filming of British television music competition show, X Factor.
