PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC – Journalists from Jamaica, Belize and Trinidad and Tobago have been named as winners in the third Regional Excellence in Agricultural Journalism Competition, 2013.
The Trinidad-based Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI) and the European-based Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Co-operation (CTA), said the winners would receive a commemorative plaque, a cash prize of US$1,000 and a round trip to Guyana to attend the Awards Ceremony on October 09.
The winners have been named as Jamaicans Desmond Brown, who won in the “Excellence in Print Journalism” and Athaliah Reynolds in the Excellence in Online and Digital Media categories.
