UNITED NATIONS (CMC) — The Caribbean Community (Caricom) has called for the adoption of a "strong funding strategy" that is vital in the attainment of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
Addressing the United Nations General Assembly High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development, St Kitts and Nevis Ambassador to the UN, Delano F Bart, said this was an "opportune time" to assess the status of development cooperation, exchange views and review efforts toward the commitments set out in the Monterrey Consensus and Doha Declaration.
