WASHINGTON, CMC – Grenada’s Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell has called for the implementation of a growth and transformation agenda coupled with his administration’s efforts to strengthen the Grenadian economy.
Addressing a protocolary meeting of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS), Mitchell alluded to the transformation of the OAS and the importance of considering new communication technologies and social media.
He said these have transformed security, democracy and human rights, adding that they have placed “special emphasis on the need to provide opportunities for innovation, competitiveness and investment for new generations.”
