Work in preparation for the Forty-Sixth Ministerial Meeting of the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) began on Thursday.
The two-day Meeting of Trade Officials is being held at the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat in Georgetown, Guyana, with some delegates joining via videoconferencing.
The officials are discussing matters including the implementation of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME), trade in goods, and external economic relations, such as future trade with the United Kingdom after BREXIT.
The Ministerial will be held on 16-17 May, also in Georgetown.
