The CARICOM Secretariat’s Managers and other Supervisors are taking part in a two-week training exercise aimed at improving performance on the work floor.
The “Coaching for Improved Performance” exercise is exposing the participants to processes and tools designed to ensure acceptable performance from all employees, provide better definitions for behaviours that constitute acceptable versus poor performance, and ensure that employees’ performance create a competitive advantage for the Secretariat.
The exercise, which began on Monday, is being conducted by experienced Canadian Executive Service Organisation (CESO) Trainer Mr. Jon Wagner. It is another in the series of staff enhancement programmes organized under the auspices of the Office of the Deputy Secretary-General.
The participants will be presented with a certificate for successfully completing the exercise.
