CSME exchange students meet Barbados’ Prime Minister

Apr 13, 2016

A group of university students from Barbados is now in Jamaica gaining first hand experience on the practical operations of  the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME).

The visit is part of a project “Students Engaging the CSME through Field promotion”, being executed by the CARICOM Secretariat and funded under the European Union’s 10th European Development Fund (EDF).

The students are expected to investigate the extent of implementation of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) in Jamaica.  They will also be exposed to the employment and business opportunities offered by the single market and its provisions for CARICOM nationals.
