“The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) condemns in the strongest terms, the terrorist attacks against innocent civilians in Paris. The Community extends its deepest sympathies, to the relatives and friends of those who lost their lives in this horrendous attack on civility. We wish a speedy and full recovery to those who were wounded in these tragic events.

The Community is shocked to the core by the heinous and cowardly attacks which have claimed so far, more than one hundred lives. Such attacks can have no ideological nor religious justification.

The Caribbean Community stands firmly in solidarity with the Government and people of France at this traumatic moment and is certain that the people of France, through their courage and resilience, will ensure this savagery will not curtail the French way of life nor triumph over the values that humanity holds dear.”
