ST. VINCENT-CRIME-Police probe second murder within 48 hours

Apr 15, 2014

KINGSTOWN, St. Vincent, CMC – Police are probing the second murder within a 48 hour period after the bullet riddled body of a 25-year-old man was found along the bank of a stream on Monday.

Police said that the body of Roger Bramble was found in an area called “Quata” and that residents in the Brighton area had reported hearing gunshots, but members of the Rapid Response Unit (“Black Squad”) who responded to the call found nothing.

Police said they are also treating as “separate and distinct from each other” the deaths of Bramble and Rillan Hill resident, Miranda “Wiggy” Williams, 34, who was found dead in Penniston on Saturday. Media reports suggest that the woman had been abducted before she was shot and killed. Police confirmed that Williams died from a single gunshot wound to the chest.
