GEORGETOWN, Guyana, CMC – A senior official of the minority opposition Alliance for Change (AFC) has resigned but left open the possibility of returning to active politics in Guyana.
AFC executive member, Sasenarine Singh, said his resignation is of immediate effect and was due to “personal reasons.”
Singh said he wanted to wish the opposition party continued success “as it seeks to lead our people out of underdevelopment and away from the politics of nepotism, crony capitalism and pettiness.
