PM Keith Rowley Chairs CARICOM Prime Ministerial Sub-Committee on Cricket

CARICOM Heads of Government will meet with representatives of Cricket West Indies next week to discuss how to better “position the game in the Caribbean so that we could come back to the glorious days”, CARICOM Chairman, the Hon. Roosevelt Skerrit, announced on Wednesday.

At a press conference at the conclusion of the Forty-Fifth Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM in Trinidad and Tobago, the Dominica Prime Minister also announced the appointment of Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. the Hon. Keith Rowley, as Chairman of the Prime Ministerial Sub-Committee on Cricket. Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. the Hon. Ralph Gonsalves, and former Prime Minister of Grenada, Dr. the Hon. Keith Mitchell, were previous Chairmen of the cricket sub-committee.
