(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana) - Dominica has assumed the chairmanship of the CARICOM Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR), receiving the baton from Jamaica at the 27th Meeting of COFCOR in Roseau, Dominica.
(CARICOM Secretariat, Turkeyen, Georgetown, Guyana) - Senior foreign affairs officials met via video conference anchored at the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat on April 29-30 to review and finalise the foreign policy matters that will be placed on the agenda of the 27th Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) scheduled for 23-24 May in Roseau, Dominica.
The Caribbean Community Council of Foreign and Community Relations (COFCOR) views with grave concern the escalating violence in the Middle East, particularly the recent direct military engagements between Israel and Iran. These developments not only exacerbate the already tense situation but also pose significant threats to regional stability and international peace.

The Council is expected to consider the agenda and arrangements for the Twenty-Seventh Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM slated for 3-6 July in St Kitts and Nevis.
