Unleashing the Power of Digital Payments for MSMEs in the OECS

The event will be a one-day activity beginning with a [panel discussion] [fireside chat] on the state of digital payments in the OECS and how digital payment can catalyse MSME sales, exports and growth. This will be followed by a series of presentations by financial institutions and fintech companies operating in the OECS and/or which have digital payment solutions available for use by OECS MSMEs and consumers.

Today, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat joins with the rest of the world in commemorating International Day of Women and Girls in Science, under the theme “Women Scientists at the forefront of the fight against COVID-10”.  

International Day of Women and Girls in Science is celebrated each year on 11 February and is an initiative backed by the United Nations, to encourage the participation of more women and girls in the Science.
